CAMALS Library Delivery Driver Needed!

Library Delivery Driver position – Carroll and Madison Library System, Eureka Springs, Arkansas

The Carroll and Madison Library System (CAMALS) is seeking a delivery driver to help facilitate the distribution and intra-library lending of the collection items owned by the six libraries in the two counties served by our in our region, located in Berryville, Eureka Springs, Green Forest in Carroll County and Huntsville, Kingston and St. Paul, Madison County, Arkansas. Driver needed to collect, sort and deliver books to all six libraries once a week.

Potential applicants must meet the following qualifications:

        

1. Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
2. Good organizational skills.
3. A current driver’s license and a clean driving record.
4. Own and have insured a private vehicle suitable for transporting crates
5. Must have availability to work on Tuesdays OR Thursdays
6. Ability to abide by information privacy and library confidentiality policies.
7. Non-smoking.

Compensation:  $15/hr. plus mileage reimbursement of $0.71/mile. Mileage is for the delivery route only; it does not include to/from driver’s residence. Hourly wages paid every two weeks; mileage reimbursement is paid out monthly. Workday is approximately 7-8 hours.

This is a contract position; no benefits are included.
